IN THE MATTER OF LOGISTICS AND FULFILLMENT ON THE GOODEALS E-COMMERCE PLATFORM
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY
Version: 2.0.0 | Effective Date: 05 August 2026
ARTICLE 1: GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. This Shipping and Delivery Policy outlines the terms, conditions, and procedures governing the fulfillment of orders placed on the GOODEALS platform ("Platform"). It is an integral part of our Buyer Terms and Conditions.
1.2. Vendor Responsibility: It is declared and understood that the individual third-party seller ("Vendor") is solely responsible for the packaging, shipping, and fulfillment of the goods you purchase. GOODEALS provides the platform to facilitate this process and partners with reputable logistics providers to ensure a reliable delivery network.
ARTICLE 2: SHIPPING COSTS
2.1. Shipping costs are not included in the price of the items listed for sale.
2.2. The applicable shipping fee for your order will be calculated at checkout. The cost is determined by several factors, including: a. The delivery address (your State and City). b. The total weight and dimensions of the package. c. The shipping method selected.
2.3. The final, total cost, inclusive of the item price and all shipping fees, will be clearly displayed for your review and confirmation before you place your order.
ARTICLE 3: ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES
3.1. Delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed. They commence from the date the Vendor ships the order, not the date the order is placed.
3.2. Standard Estimated Timelines: a. Intra-State Delivery (within the same state): Typically 1 to 3 business days. b. Inter-State Delivery (between different states): Typically 3 to 7 business days.
3.3. "Business days" are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays in Nigeria.
3.4. The Vendor is obligated to process and dispatch your order within one (1) to two (2) business days of order confirmation. Any significant delays will be communicated to you.
ARTICLE 4: ORDER TRACKING
4.1. Once your order has been dispatched by the Vendor, you will receive a shipping confirmation email.
4.2. This email will contain a unique Tracking Number and a link to the logistics provider's website, allowing you to monitor the status and location of your package in real-time.
4.3. You can also find the tracking information for your order in the "My Orders" section of your GOODEALS account.
ARTICLE 5: PROCEDURE FOR DAMAGED OR LOST ITEMS
5.1. Item Damaged in Transit: a. Upon receiving your package, you are advised to inspect it immediately. b. If the item is visibly damaged, you have the right to reject the delivery on the spot. c. If you discover the damage after accepting the delivery, open a return request through the GOODEALS platform selecting "Defective or Damaged Item" as the reason. The operational window for doing so is the 7-day return window in Article 3.1 of the Return and Refund Policy, not 24 hours. We ask that you tell us as soon as you reasonably can, because prompt reporting makes a transit-damage claim easier to prove against the carrier — but a delay within that window is not, by itself, a ground for refusing your claim, and your statutory rights under the FCCPA in respect of damaged goods survive the window entirely. d. You will be required to provide clear photographic evidence of the damage. This matter will then be governed by our Return and Refund Policy.
5.2. Item Lost in Transit: a. An item is considered "lost in transit" if the tracking information has not been updated for seven (7) consecutive business days and the estimated delivery date has passed. b. If you suspect your item is lost, you must contact GOODEALS Customer Support immediately. c. We will launch a formal investigation with the logistics provider. This investigation may take up to five (5) business days. d. If the investigation confirms the package is lost, you will be entitled to a full refund or a replacement item sent at no additional cost, subject to availability. This policy is designed to ensure a transparent and secure delivery experience for every GOODEALS customer.
